Stellar Kim is a fiction writer whose short stories have won awards from The Atlantic Monthly, The Iowa Review, The Ontario Review, and The Best American Short Stories.

Stellar was born in Seoul, South Korea, grew up in Queens, New York, and lives in Boston.  She is a graduate of Boston College and the CUNY Brooklyn College Creative Writing MFA Program where she studied with Amy Bloom, Susan Choi, Joshua Henkin, Ernesto Mestre-Reed, and Michael Cunningham.
